U.S. Can’t Save The World

For years there has been a great deal of conversation about the border between the United States and Mexico, and the need to “secure” said border.
Many nations across the world have had heavy security at their borders; some of them (like Russia, China and the former Eastern Bloc nations) used armed guards to try keeping their own people/citizens from escaping to the freedom of the Western world.
A lot of people were killed trying to escape from those places. Others, such as Christian missionaries, if they were captured, were arrested, beaten and tortured simply because they wanted to reach the peoples of these various nations with the message of God and His love for them (the gospel of Jesus Christ).
However, it is peculiar how America is criticized for wanting to make its own borders secure after so many years of failing at just that point.
America cannot save the entire world! No matter what anyone thinks or says, that is not possible.
All throughout the modern era of combat, America’s military personnel have been sent to one part of the world after another. Thousands of our people in all branches of military service have lost their lives in these battles; and in the opinions of some Americans, our people died for no good reason.
The nations our people sought to save did not appreciate our efforts on their behalf in some instances.
America should never have ceased using the military draft. A lot of the young people coming out of America’s public schools (whether graduates or dropouts) in the last 45 years have done nothing but indulge in abuse of alcohol and narcotics, sexual misconduct of all sort, various criminal acts and so on.
Some are little more than worthless bums who have wasted their lives sitting on barstools repeatedly drinking themselves into a stupor. These losers sit around swilling alcohol and run their mouths seeking to provoke a violent response.
I know just that kind: People who could have helped this country, but who will waste their lives and will die as cowards!
