Wawasee Swimmers Win At Home Against East Noble

SYRACUSE – The Wawasee boys swimming team won 141-39 over East Noble Tuesday night in a non-conference meet. Wawasee won every event.

For the Warriors, Brady Robinson was a double winner in the 100-yard breaststroke and 100-yard backstroke events. Brett Willman was victorious in the 200 and 500-yard freestyle races. Jared Krugman won the 100-yard freestyle and the 200-yard individual medley race.

Willaman’s performance in the 500-yard free is a new career best, hitting the wall in 5:11.59. 

Austin Dunithan and Brady Claassen finished one and two, respectively, in diving. Both results are lifetime bests for the duo.

Jake Cowan and Daegan Kingrey had career bests in the 100-yard free event. They finished second and third.

Wawasee takes a short break from competition and will be back in the pool Feb. 15 for the sectional preliminaries at Concord High School.
