Edgewood Wins Eighth Grade Boys Basketball NELMSC Championship

The Edgewood eighth grade boys basketball team won the NELMSC championship tournament. In the championship game, Edgewood defeated Milford 28-16. Jackson Dawson scored 14 points. Daylan Vermilyer and Isaiah Courtois each scored five.
The Tigers defeated Lakeview in the first game 45-44, which went into triple overtime. Jackson Dawson scored 22, Daylan Vermilyer and Caden Graham each scored five. The Tigers ended the season with a 19-3 record.
