NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON A PETITION FOR

INVOLUNTARY  ANNEXATION

    Notice is hereby given that the Common Council of Warsaw, Indiana, will hold a public hearing on a Petition for Involuntary Annexation. The hearing will be held on the 29th day of March 2018, at 7:00 p.m. at the Council Chambers in the City Hall, 102 South Buffalo Street, Warsaw, Indiana.

    The proposed annexation, also, involves consideration of a change of the zoning classification from County's current zoning classifications  to the City's current zoning classification as follows:     

    County 1-2 Industrial to City I-2 Industrial

    County Commercial  to City C-3 Commercial

    County Agricultural to City I-2 Industrial

    The following property description describes the annexation boundaries of the proposed annexation:

    A tract of land in the Northeast Quarter of Section 4, Township 32 North, Range 6 East, Wayne Township and the Southeast Quarter of Section 32, Township 33 North, Range 6 East, and South Half of Section 33, Township 33 North, Range 6 East both in Plain Township, and all in Kosciusko County, Indiana, more particularly described as follows:

    Written suggestions or objections to the provisions of said annexation may be filed with the Building and Planning Department before such hearing and will be heard by the Common Council at the time and place specified.  Said hearing may be continued from time to time as may be necessary.

    Interested persons desiring to present their views upon the proposed annexation, either in writing or verbally, will be given the opportunity to be heard at the above mentioned time and place.
