Plymouth Swimmers Defeat Vikings In Dual Meet

AKRON –  Tippecanoe Valley hosted Plymouth in boys swimming Monday night. The visiting Pilgrims were the victors, winning 97-83.

Chase Brower won two individual events for the Vikings and was part of the winning 200 freestyle relay. His efforts in the 50 free and 100 backstroke helped him secure wins for the hosts.

Daniel Alexander was first in the 100 butterfly, winning by one second. Dakota Prater splashed his way into first in the 500 free. Alexander and Prater were members of the winning 200 free relay along with Brower and Mason Stephen.

Travis Shull scored first in diving for Valley, amassing a score of 208.40.

Prater finished second in the 200 free and Stephen concluded the 100 breaststroke in second.

The quartet of Prater, Stephen, Alexander and Brower received a second-place nod in the 200 medley.

The Vikings are back in action Thursday, hosting Pioneer.
