AKRON — Mary D. Shrum, 95, North Manchester, formerly of Rochester and Akron, died at 4:15 a.m. Monday, Jan. 22, 2018, at Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester.

She was born Nov. 12, 1922, in Fulton, to Frank and Iva Tester Bowen. On June 4, 1946, in North Manchester, she married Donald L. Shrum, who died March 6, 2002.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Hartzler Funeral Home, 305 W. Rochester St., Akron. Burial will be in Rochester IOOF Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
