NEW HAVEN — Gregory “Greg” Lynn Reed, 70, passed away Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018, at Signature Healthcare, Fort Wayne.

Born in Huntington, he was the son of the late Hubert and Clara Briggs Reed. He retired from B.F. Goodrich, Woodburn, after 37 years.

Greg graduated in 1965 from North Manchester High School. He proudly served his country in the Army. He was a past member of American Legion Post 377 Color Guard, Woodburn.

Greg enjoyed shooting and repairing lawn mowers. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his children, Andrew (Barbara) Reed, Pierceton, and Julie (Dan Elzey) Reed, Ossian; siblings: Myron (Cheryl) Reed, New Haven; Melanie (Rick) Baber, Wabash; and Christine (Stan) Robison, Laketon; grandchildren: Gail, Drew and Ethan Reed, and Zane and Grace Buuck; and his companion, Diane Richhart, Woodburn.  

He was preceded in death by his brother, Chris Reed.

Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 Ind. 930 E, New Haven.  

Private services will be at the convenience of the family.
