County Jail Bookings

The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:

• 10:23 a.m. Friday – Kerry Lee Kern, 33, Garrett, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $264.50.

• 1:06 p.m. Friday – Haleigh Renae Johnson, 25, of 902 Anchorage Road, Warsaw, arrested for possession of meth. Bond: $5,250.

• 1:31 p.m. Friday – Destinee Nicole Prater, 21, of 9464 S. Ind. 13, Claypool, arrested for escape. Bond: $5,250.

• 1:58 p.m. Friday – Paul Lloyd Reese, 36, of 2441 W. CR 250S, Warsaw, arrested for domestic battery. Bond: $1,000.

• 2:26 p.m. Friday – Ryan Victor Head, 27, of 606 E. Clark St., Warsaw, arrested for driving while suspended. Bond: $450.

• 3:24 p.m. Friday – Nicholas Jay Silva, 18, of 611 N. Park Ave., Warsaw, arrested for domestic battery in the presence of a child and interfering with the reporting of a crime. Bond: $5,250.



Property Damage Accidents

• 9:09 a.m. Friday – Ind. 15 at Ranch Road, Warsaw. Car jumped curb on icy road. Driver: William J. Smith, 20, North Arbutus Trail, Warsaw. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

• 10:44 a.m. Friday – Kings Highway at Fifth Street, Winona Lake. Car couldn’t turn on slick road, hit curb. Driver: Garrett A. Treadwell, 24, Marion. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. Winona Lake Police Department investigated.

• 11:57 a .m. Friday –  Ranch Road north of Baker Street, Warsaw. Pickup slid off road, hit utility pole. Driver: Brian P. Sexton, 46, Old Ditch Road, Warsaw. WPD.

• 1:10 p.m. Friday – West CR 250N west of Douglas Road, Warsaw. SUV slid off road, hit junction box. Driver: Jacklyn J. Jones, 18, Wooster Road, Pierceton. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.

• 5:57 a.m. Thursday  – A driver without a license was reported in the 800 block of East Center Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 7:04 a.m. Thursday – A welfare check was requested in the 500 block of Clinic Court, Warsaw. WPD.

• 7:31 p.m. Thursday – Someone threatened a law enforcement officer and resisted arrest in the 600 block of Market Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 1:33 a.m. Friday –  A suicide attempt was reported in the 100 block of South Scott Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 4:09 a.m. Friday – A driveoff was reported at a gas station in the 100 block of Main Street, Leesburg. The customer returned and paid the bill. KCSD.

• 5:31 a.m. Friday – Robbery with a deadly weapon was reported in the 800 block of East Center Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 12:32 p.m. Friday – Domestic battery was reported in the 2400 block of West CR 250S, Warsaw. KCSD.

• 1:15 p.m. Friday – Possible theft of a pickup was reported at a business in the 1000 block of East Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Value: $1,500. WPD.
