Long Celebrating 85 Years Jan. 13

The family of William I. “Bill” Long, Hoffman Lake, will have a family dinner today to celebrate his 85th birthday.

Bill was born Jan. 13, 1933, to Isaac and Madeline Long.

He served in the Army during the Korean War. He retired from Holiday Rambler.

He married Beverly Huggins in June 1956, and they started Hoffman Lake Camp in 1963.

Together they had four children: Aime (Hal) Hoffman,  Yellow Creek Lake; and Mike (Dara) Long, Mark Long and Susan (Tim, deceased) Long, all of Warsaw. He has nine grandchildren,  one step-granddaughter and six great-grandchildren.
