He was born May 18, 1947, in Warsaw, to Calvin and Betty Biltz Davis. On Oct. 6, 1968, in Bunker Hill, he was united in marriage to Beverly “Becky” Davis, who survives.
A lifetime Pierceton resident, he worked as a group leader inspector for Zimmer for 25 years, retiring in 1998.
He was a member of Pierceton American Legion Post 256, Sons of the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly “Becky” Davis; and children: Amy Reichel, Tracy (David) Owens, Kevin Davis, Dawn Reiff and Bryan Davis, all of Pierceton. He is further survived by his siblings: Kenneth Davis, Pierceton; Dan (Cheryl) Davis, Warsaw; Terry Davis, Pierceton; Marjean (Bryan) McClarnon, Warsaw; and Tammy (companion Joni) Davis, Pierceton. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded by his parents; brothers Thomas, Stan and Larry Davis; and grandchild Blake.
Services will be private.
