MENTONE — Jay Alan Teel, 65, Mentone, died at 1:40 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, after being hospitalized for 10 days.

He was born Feb. 15, 1952, in Warsaw, to Edna Marie Eizinger and Oliver Clifford Teel. On Feb. 8, 1998, in Rochester, he married Megan Hermann. She survives.

A celebration of life service will be at 6 p.m. Friday in King Memorial Home, 101 N. Tucker St. Mentone.

A memorial gathering will be from 5 to 6 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.

Private family burial is planned in Sycamore Cemetery, Mentone.
