As we have finally turned the calendar over to 2018, it is time for the General Assembly to start a new legislative session.

I have been meeting many people to get a feel of what issues are important to them.

There has been a lot of talk regarding Sunday alcohol sales, CBD oil, education, child services, and of course, roads. I have heard many different viewpoints from all of you.

For those I have spoken with over the summer and fall, thank you for your input. For those who I have not met, I hope to hear from you over the course of the session; however, everyone in our district can help me serve our community by filling out the annual constituent surveys that should be arriving in your mailboxes soon.

I encourage everyone to fill out the paper survey and mail it back to the Statehouse, or complete the online version at www.indianahouserepublicans.com before Jan. 31. Simply click on your representative’s webpage to fill out the survey online. The more responses I get back from all of you, the better I can represent everyone to the best of my ability.

I look forward to serving everyone throughout the district this year. If anyone has any questions, do not hesitate to reach out to me at [email protected] or by calling 800-382-9841.

Thank you,

Curt Nisly
