County Jail Bookings

The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:

• 12:24 p.m. Tuesday – Gregory Lee Staten, 31, South Bend, arrested for two counts of parole violation and wanted on a warrant for an Indiana agency. No bond set.

• 7:24 p.m. Tuesday – Paige Ryann Gaines, 19, Elkhart, arrested for failure to appear. No bond set.

• 8:11 p.m. Tuesday – Kyle Jacob Abbott, 22, of 3699 E. CR 175N, Lot 178, Warsaw, arrested on a warrant in a civil matter. Bond: $2,709.74.

• 8:23 p.m. Tuesday – Jenna Lee Niblick, 31, Fort Wayne, arrested for probation violation and possession of paraphernalia. Bond: $10,250.

• 10:40 p.m. Tuesday – Nicholas Scott Silvers, 39, Fort Wayne, arrested for attempt to commit a felony. Bond: $6,000.

• 11:23 p.m. Tuesday – Angel Nicole Shepherd, 30, Wabash, arrested for theft - $750-$50,000. Bond: $5,250.



Property Damage Accidents

• 7:43 a.m. Monday – Intersection of North Ind. 13 and East Old 30, Pierceton. SUV hit deer. Driver: Krista M. Drumm, 33, East Sumac Lane, North Webster. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.

• 12:47 p.m. Monday – West CR 1100N, 400 feet east of North CR 900W, Nappanee. Pickup-commercial truck collision. Drivers: Michael R. Slabaugh, 20, West CR 1100N, Nappanee; Melissa Sharkey, 26, CR 20, Goshen. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. KCSD.

• 5:58 a.m. Tuesday – Intersection of West CR 1350N and North CR 750W, Nappanee. Car went off road and hit a tree. Driver: Amos R. Caudill, 24, Donna Street, Leesburg. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. KCSD.

• 6:23 a.m. today – Intersection of Argonne Road and Durbin Street, Warsaw. Pickup-van collision. Drivers: Julie Manges, 48, Walkers Ridge, Warsaw; Daniel L. Pruitt, 51, Sunday Lane, Winona Lake. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

• 2:53 p.m. Monday – A person in the 2500 block of East Center Street, Warsaw, was taken into emergency detetion. WPD.

• 11:59 a.m. Tuesday – A man was arrested on an Indiana warrant in the 2100 block of East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 3:31 p.m. Tuesday – Intimidation was reported in the 10500 block of South Pleasant Street, Silver Lake. Silver Lake Police Department investigated.

• 6:53 p.m. Tuesday – A delinquent act by a juvenile was reported in the 300 block of West Market Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 5:42 p.m. Tuesday – A traffic stop occurred in the 200 block of North Parker Street, Warsaw, and the driver and the passenger were arrested. WPD.

• 9:51 p.m. Tuesday – A vehicle was reported to be stuck in the mud in the 8000 block of East CR 400N, Leesburg. The driver was found to be intoxicated and driving on a suspended license. KCSD.

• 12:18 a.m. today – An officer saw two trucks parked on the east side of the road in the 8000 block of East CR 400N with the truck lights on. A woman jumped out of a moving truck. The driver of the truck was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. KCSD.
