Norman E. Brown, 89, Warsaw, passed away Monday, Feb. 19, 2018, at 4:02 p.m. in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. He was born Sept. 10, 1928, in Warsaw, to Roscoe and Nellie Ellis Brown.

A lifetime area resident, he was formerly employed by the Oasis Club, the Elks Club and Holiday Inn, all of Warsaw, as a bartender. Additionally, he had 10 years of service with Dalton Foundry as a pattern maker and tool room technician, where he retired. He was a life member of the Warsaw Moose Club. He married Wanda Babcock on Nov. 4, 1949, in Warsaw. She preceded him Feb. 25, 2009.

He is survived by his sons: Michael (and spouse Cheryl) Brown, Timothy (and spouse Cynthia) Brown, both of Warsaw; Patrick (and spouse Jolinda) Brown, Colorado Springs, Colo., and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Furthermore, Norman was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Whitaker, one grandson and one great grandson.

Visitation is from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A graveside service will follow at 1 p.m. in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, with Don Plank officiating.
