Allen Jay Carey, 48, passed away at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 16, 2018, in his residence. He was born on June 2, 1969, in Whitley County, to Rodney Carey and Yolanda Pruitt Kuta.

He lived most of his life in Kosciusko County and was employed as a security officer at numerous places. He also worked at Beers Amusement. He attended many different churches around the community during his life. He was an avid video game player, especially World of War Craft. In addition, he enjoyed scuba diving, and loved being around friends, family and his grandkids.

He is survived by his daughters, Nikki Huston, Albion, and Krista Swick, Pierceton; a son, Jacob Rodgers, Tennessee; three sisters, numerous brothers, six grandchildren; a special companion, Marta Mcdade, and Lacey whom was like another daughter to him. He was preceded in death by a son, Markus Middleton.

No services are planned. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, is entrusted with arrangements.
