Four Seasons Ladies Bridge

WINONA LAKE — Four Seasons Ladies Bridge met Feb. 14 at Grace Village.

Winners were Peg Zimmerman, Maxine Harris and Helen Miller.

Sharon Holtz was hostess.



Wednesday Night Bridge Group

The group had four tables for its Valentine's Day and Ash Wednesday gathering.

Winners were Irene Clay, Bob Mayer, John Wagley, Kathy Clary and Judy Stewart. Janet and John Wagley are hostess and host for February.

The next meeting is Feb 21.



Singles Meeting Friends

Six people made it to the Valentine’s Day gathering despite the heavy fog.

The group enjoyed a spaghetti dinner at Tippe Downs and played euchre after the meeting.

Eldon, who lives at Tippe Downs, stopped by to say hello. Linda told the group Rita fell and dislocated her shoulder. Susanne is flying back to Arizona after being here a week to attend her brother-in-law’s funeral.

Grace Thursday Bridge Group

The group met Feb. 15 with Betty Walston as hostess.

Winners were Sharon Tuttle and Ann Thallemer.



North Webster Community Center SPEC

NORTH WEBSTER —Bridge winners at the Senior Prime Enrichment Center on Feb. 15 were Mike Wyrick, first, and Jean Cowan, second.



Altrusa International

A spring bazaar will be held at Vitale Events, 2517 E. Center St., Warsaw, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 3.

More than 25 vendors will be on hand to showcase their arts, crafts and one-of-a-kind gifts just in time for Easter and Mother’s Day.

There is no admission fee and there will be a free drawing for a spring basket.

The bazaar is hosted by Altrusa International of Warsaw.  

The group provides service and support to local organizations such as Beaman Home, CASA, Grace College Mentors for Kids, Baker Youth Club, Salvation Army, Mobile Meals, Kosciusko Literacy Services and Habitat for Humanity.

The local Altrusa Club is celebrating its 45th anniversary in 2018.
