February is American Heart Month, and one of the most important things we can do to keep our hearts healthy is to eat a heart healthy diet.

Join Jackie Franks from the Purdue Extension Office at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 26 for this one-hour program to learn about heart healthy cooking, heart healthy eating, and the DASH eating plan. You’ll have a chance to win door prizes! A sign-up sheet is available now at the adult circulation desk. Bring a friend and sign up for this free program.

Ice Story Time

Children attending Story Time at 10:15 a.m.  or 1:30 p.m. Wednesday or at 7 p.m. Feb. 22 will enjoy learning about ice.

Preschool-aged children will try ice painting. Join us as we stay warm inside. Story Time is free and does not require a library card. If you'd like to attend Story Time, sign up at the children's circulation desk or call 658-4312.

Beat The Winter Blues Event Spa Night

Beat the Winter Blues at the Library!  Anyone age 18 and older is invited to enjoy a mini spa night on Thursday, February 22 at 6:30 p.m. and make their own body scrub. Bring a friend. This event is free and no library card is needed.  Please sign up at the adult circulation desk.

Win Prizes With The Adult Reading Club

Adults 18 and older can win prizes just by reading! For each audiobook listened to or book (Ebook) read, participants can enter their name into a weekly drawing for a prize. No library card needed. Please sign up at the adult circulation desk or call 574-658-4312. The Adult Reading Program will continue until March 31 so you’ve got plenty of time to participate.
