Stogsdill Retires From Air Force

Senior Master Sgt. Douglas M. Stogsdill recently was honored at a retirement ceremony at Grissom Air Force Base, Bunker Hill.

He served in the Air Force for 34 years, beginning with his enlistment at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

He retired as flight chief of the 434th Maintenance Squadron Fabrication Flight.

At the retirement ceremony, Stogsdill was presented many awards and decorations, including the Air Reserve Meritorious Service Medal with 10 oak leaf clusters.

He is a 1980 graduate of Warsaw Community High School. His father, the late Rev. Claude Stogsdill, pastored the Warsaw First Brethren Church. His mother, Jane, lives in?Peru, Ind., as well as his wife, Vickey.
