Is This The Ameria You Want?

Democrats claim to love America. But if they had their way, would we have an America we are proud of?

Let's say the Democrats finally forced Trump and Pence out of the White House and Nancy Pelosi became president since constitutionally, the Speaker of the House is third in line for the presidency. This would only happen if the Democrats took back control of the Congress. If Democrats win back Congress in November, something that would allow them to impeach Trump, they would throw their weight around like a 600-pound sumo wrestler. Maxine Waters would probably be the vice president.

If the stock market collapses, the Democrats would blame Republican policies like supposed tax breaks for the rich. Expect taxes to be hiked to the stratosphere on the rich and corporations that make too much profit. Crushing regulations would be imposed to punish the successful. The stock market would fall even further.

Forget about a border wall. Sanctuary cities and states would welcome immigrants with open arms and the taxpayers would pick up the bill. Unemployment of American citizens would climb since immigrants would be doing their jobs and crime would soar since gangs would come in like a poisonous flood along with drugs. Drug legalization might be tried to take crime out of drug dealing. But crime would increase since millions of addicts would be unemployed and would have to rob people and places to pay for drugs. Also, gangs would still kill rivals to corner the drug selling market.

With poverty increasing, spending would soar and borrowing would tag along for the ride. Trade barriers might be imposed to protect American businesses and the unions, or they might be eliminated to promote totally free trade to allow Americans to buy cheaper products. American companies would close down since they couldn't compete.

With debt averaging $2 trillion to $3 trillion dollars, I expect nations like China to stop investing in America and demanding repayment of our debt to them. This could produce a world depression and an uncivil war in America that our enemies would take advantage of by attacking us. If military spending is cut to allow more domestic spending, we won't be able to keep North Korean and Iranian missiles from being launched against us. The nuclear devastation could end America’s existence.

Voting Democrat in November might make this nightmare a reality. Should the voters take that chance?
