Warsaw's Liza Lewis Signs With Marian University

Lewis, who has earned recognition as All District, All Northern Lakes Conference and Academic All State, has helped lead the Lady Tigers to three IHSAA sectional and two regional titles. As an individual, Lewis has also captured sectional and regional titles at No. 1 singles.
A multi-sport athlete, Lewis has also lettered in cross country for four seasons.
While Lewis has excelled in all facets on the court, the scholar-athlete has excelled in her service to the school and community as well. Lewis has been a Baker Youth Club tutor, helped with the Warsaw Community Church youth groups and Community Kitchen, and volunteered with the Animal Shelter. A member of the National Honor Society, Lewis has also been a member of the Octagon Club.
A scholar-athlete award winner with a 4.0 grade-point average, Lewis plans on studying nursing at Marian University and playing tennis for coach Tyler Scanlan.
The Knights are members of the NAIA and the Crossroads League.
