Two Men Held In Burglary, Theft

Marcus Deunte Brooks, 34, of 2441 W. CR 250S, #61, Warsaw, was arrested and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail at 8:54 a.m. Thursday for burglary. His preliminary bond was set for $15,250.
Court documents list the counts against Brooks as burglary, a level 4 felony; theft, a Class A misdemeanor; burglary, a level 4 felony; theft, a Class A misdemeanor; burglary, a level 4 felony; and attempted theft, a Class A misdemeanor.
Anthony Andreas Rivera, 19, of 2441 W. CR 250S, #107, Warsaw, was booked at 9:52 a.m. Thursday for burglary of a dwelling. His preliminary bond was set at $15,250.
Court documents list the counts against Rivera as burglary, a level 4 felony; and theft, a Class A misdemeanor.
On Jan. 8, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Deputy Matthew Holderman responded to a burglary at an undisclosed Warsaw residence. Upon arrival, he spoke with the homeowner who said sometime during that day unknown subjects forced the front door open and stole two televisions and a streaming device. The home had been ransacked.
On Jan. 10, KCSD Deputy Jeffrey Clark responded to a burglary at another undisclosed Warsaw residence. The homeowner told him that sometime during that day unknown subjects kicked her home’s door in, entered the residence and stole a gaming system, games and jewelry. The house also was ransacked.
