AKRON – The Tippecanoe Valley boys swimming team competed in its final home meet on Monday evening, defeating Knox 114-55.

Valley had six individual winners and won all three relay events at the meet.

Dakota Prater finished first in the  200-yard freestyle race, hitting the wall in 2:04.87. He also earned a second-place result in the 500-yard free event.

Daniel Alexander won the 200-yard individual medley, Chase Brower received first in the 50-yard free, Grayson Sriver tallied first in the 100-yard backstroke and Chase Brower ended first in the 100-yard breaststroke. 

The 200-yard medley (Mason Stephen, Camden Tucker, Brower, Alexander), 200-yard free (Zach Hodge, Camden Tucker, Tucker Shull, Prater) and 400-yard free relay (Stephen, Alexander, Tucker,  Prater) teams finished first for the Vikings.

Travis Shull scored a 223.05 to earn first in diving for Valley. 

Mason Stephen earned second-place nods at the event in the 50-yard and 100-yard free races.

The boys will be back in the pool on Feb. 15 for the sectional preliminaries at Warsaw Community High School.
