Five Facing Charges On Multiple Warrants

The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department received a complaint of a burglary in progress at about 8 a.m. Thursday at 428 EMS D15 Lane, Syracuse. Officers at the scene learned the incident was not a residential burglary, but a subject recovering property, according to a news release from KCSD.
While talking with the suspects, officers learned that several of them were wanted on warrants locally and from other jurisdictions.
While three of the subjects were being arrested, a search of the residence revealed drugs and drug paraphernalia. Meth, heroin, needles, smoking devices for narcotics and scales were found, the release states.
The investigation also led to the recovery of a stolen vehicle and the arrest of a suspect from an auto theft in the same area Wednesday morning.
Those arrested were:
• Michael Gross, 65, Syracuse, booked into the Kosciusko County Jail for maintaining a common nuisance, possession of meth and possession of heroin.
• Hayle Doty, 29, Milford, booked into the jail for visiting a common nuisance and on a Marshall County warrant for dealing heroin.
• Twila Zentz, 52, Syracuse, booked into the jail on a warrant for theft.
• James Roder, 32, Claypool, booked into the jail for visiting a common nuisance and on a warrant in a civil matter.
• Aaron Marshall, 34, Warsaw, booked into the jail for auto theft.
