Brown will coach football and work at 3A school in central Indiana.
He said his decision was made in part for family reasons, and in part because the job will allow him to work in an administrative capacity to help students who are struggling academically.
“I’m definitely very grateful for all the coaches I’ve coached with,” Brown said. “None of this has been me, it’s been we, and the community here supports you. The kids have been great.”
Brown had a 21-25 record in four seasons at Triton. He took the program from 2-8 in 2015 to a school-record nine wins and a sectional championship in the fall.
“As long as they can continue to get that support and make some smart decisions, I?can see that success to continue for them for sometime forward here,” Brown said.
