Unruhs Married 70 Years On Dec. 31

Frank and Violet Unruh of Warsaw are celebrating 70 years together.

Frank Unruh and the former Violet Grubbs were married by their pastor in Atwood on Dec. 31, 1948.

Frank worked for several years at Smith Tire, Builders Mart and Maple Avenue Flowers.

Violet had worked for the Free Methodist Publishing House.

The Unruhs had three children: Diana (Larry) Long of Warsaw, Steve (Pam) Unruh of Milford, and Dale Unruh, who is deceased. They have five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

An anniversary celebration for immediate family is planned for Dec. 30.

A card shower also is planned; send cards to the Unruhs at 425 Chinworth Court, Apt. 136, Warsaw, IN 46580.
