CLUNETTE – “Bethlehem Morning” is the title of the Christmas cantata Sunday night at Clunette United Methodist Church.
The choir’s performance will begin at 7 p.m. Refreshments will follow.
The public is invited to come and prepare for the celebration of the coming of the Christ Child.
Clunette UMC is about 4 miles west of Ind. 15 on CR 600N.

One Heart Trio Will Give Concert Sunday
SILVER LAKE – One Heart will present a Christmas concert at 6 p.m. Sunday at Silver Lake Wesleyan Church.
Members of the trio are Lori Holder (soprano), Kelly Cheney (alto) and Steve Newcomer (tenor), all from Marion. The concert will focus on songs of Christmas, including “Winter Wonderland,” “White Christmas,” “Joy to the World,” “Silent Night” and “Mary, Did You Know.”
There is no admission charge; a freewill offering for the trio will be collected.
Everyone is welcome.
Silver Lake Wesleyan Church is at 106 W. Walnut St., Silver Lake. It is one block north of the stoplight on Ind. 15 and one-fourth block west. Parking is on the north side of the church. Entrance is on the east upper level with a ramp.
Community Meal Tuesday At Sacred Heart
A community meal will be offered in the gymnasium at Sacred Heart Church from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
This month’s meal will feature fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, fresh fruit and a variety of desserts. It is provided and served by Sacred Heart parishioners.
There is no charge for the meal. Everyone is welcome. For more information, call 574-267-5842.
‘What Then Should We Do’ Sermon Sunday
CLAYPOOL – Pastor Mike's sermon Sunday at Claypool United Methodist Church is "What Then Should We Do," based on Luke 3:7-18.
The sermon is about softening our hearts as Christmas nears and humbling ourselves toward repentance in anticipation of the arrival of Christ.
Sunday school is at 9 a.m. and the worship service is at 10:20. Everyone is welcome.
‘An Empty Christmas’ Is Sunday Message
WINONA LAKE – Guest pastor Jesse Deloe will speak on “An Empty Christmas” at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at the Church of the Good Shepherd.
The service will highlight the true meaning of Christmas and will include singing traditional carols.
The church is at the corner of College Avenue and Seventh Street in Winona Lake.
God’s Life-Changing Love Topic Of Message
Mark McCurties, a practitioner of Christian Science healing, will present a talk titled, "How God's love can change your life and the world" at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Church of Christ, Scientist, Warsaw.
"We all have a natural desire to improve ourselves and the world around us,” McCurties said. “In my own life I've found that letting God, divine love, guide and direct my efforts brings permanent and meaningful results."
The ideas in this lecture are based on the teachings of Jesus as recorded in the Bible, and as discussed in “Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures” by Mary Baker Eddy.
McCurties spent a number of years in the field of education, where he worked as a camp director, experiential educator, resident counselor and athletics coach. While working with young people, he said, he had many opportunities to witness the healing power of God, and these experiences eventually led him into the full-time public practice of Christian Science.
McCurties is a member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship. He travels from his home in Ann Arbor, Mich.
The church is at 1011 Mariners Drive, Warsaw.
St. Anne’s Holiday Services Scheduled
St. Anne’s Episcopal Church invites the public to its celebrations of Christ’s birth this holiday season.
Two services are offered on Dec. 23: Advent Lessons and Prayers at 8 a.m. and Advent Lessons and Carols at 10:15 a.m.
A Christmas Eve Mass is planned for 7 p.m. Dec. 24.
