Overhyping Dread

If we feared everything the media feared because the things it warned about were to be feared, this nation would be like the Soviet gulag.

If Donald Trump was a real tyrant, why aren't all his critics dead? John Brennan may have lost his security clearance, but he didn't lose his ability to complain about losing his security clearance. To say he lost his right to free speech would be like saying you lose your ability to read a newspaper because you no longer subscribe to a local newspaper.

The media warned that the nation was going to be worse off after Trump was elected. That was partly true. It's mainly worst off due to the media that hates Trump. Maybe the media is colluding with the Russians since Putin wants confusion and angst in America and the media is doing his bidding. Hillary actually colluded with Russians to try and destroy Trump. Maybe Mueller should go after her and those that were involved with the infamous Steele dossier. But the media would protest, saying Mueller is being diverted from his real goal; destroy Donald Trump. If the media were mining for gold it would find nothing and complain that those who were striking it rich were actually finding fools gold.

Sticks and stones can break my bones. But today, words can destroy you. If I said Maxine Watters often talks like a fool, I might be condemned as racist or sexist. I would turn the insult around on my critics and say they are the true racist and sexists because they must think all black women are fools. That would be insane to believe. Maybe we should do that more often to silence critics. Don't complain that jockies are anti-pig because they ride horses until a sow or boar wins the Kentucky Derby.

Colleges used to champion free speech. But too many of them oppose conservatives exercising that right.  If students are offended when they're called snowflakes, do you really think they are going to melt? Ironically, those who complain that conservatives foster violence are the ones that are violent.

Reagan didn't start World War III because his critics thought he would do it if elected. Trump didn't open concentration camps for liberals on Jan. 20, 2017. If the media thinks things are bad now and blame Trump for the "problems," wait until the Tribulation starts. At least our critics will rejoice when the Rapture takes us "out of the way."
