Sonny Carpenter and the former Liz Lozier were married Aug. 30, 1958, in Tippecanoe Community Church.
They have four children: David Carpenter, Jack Carpenter, Dawn Bethel and Regina Dance; as well as seven grandsons and a great-granddaughter.
