Krygiers Married For 50 Years

Walter Krygier and the former Lorene Rogers will celebrate their golden anniversary this month.

The couple were born and raised in the southern suburbs of Chicago, Walt from Calumet City and Lorie from Homewood. They met junior year in Spanish class at Marian Catholic High School, Chicago Heights, Ill.

On Aug. 24, 1968, the couple were united in marriage at Infant Jesus of Prague Catholic Church, Flossmoor, Ill.

The Krygiers have resided in Warsaw 33 years and are members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Walt is retired from Kimble Glass and Lorie from The Papers Inc.

They look forward to celebrating their 50th anniversary at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island.
