The Cancer Care Fund of Kosciusko County announced this year’s date for the Steve Dodds Charity Golf Event at Tippecanoe Lake Country Club.

On Sept. 7, teams may play at either 8 a.m. or 1 p.m. with lunch served to all participants.

Denny Hively, event chairman, has lined up hole-in-one sponsors for all the par 3s, and there will be prize winners in ladies’ teams, mixed teams and men’s teams for the morning and afternoon rounds. There will be a putting contest for the morning and afternoon players, a par 3, closest-to-the-hole contest and several proximity and long drive contests.

Players or hole sponsors can contact Hively at [email protected], or any of the committee members: Jerry Clevenger, Duane Rauch, Jeff Wells, Bob Miller, Ron Smock and Dave Mayer.

Registration forms and hole sponsor forms will be posted on the Cancer Care Fund website, www.cancercarefundkc.org, and there will be a link from the Cancer Care Fund FaceBook page.
