On behalf of Warsaw Community Schools, allow me to be among the first to say welcome to the 2018-2019 school year.
With the start of a new school year we at Warsaw Schools are very excited for the opportunity to continue furthering our mission “to inspire and equip all students to continuously acquire and apply knowledge and skills while pursuing their dreams and enriching the lives of others.”
The start of a new school year is an exciting time filled with new possibilities for growth and learning. As we look forward to a year filled with educational opportunities and achievements for students and staff alike, we also reflect on our past successes.
Throughout the past year, WCS staff have worked diligently to further develop course opportunities, enhance facilities and imagine innovative new ways to equip all students with knowledge and skills while pursuing their dreams and enriching the lives of others. This pursuit has led to national and state recognitions of student achievements.
At Warsaw Community Schools, we are committed to the pursuit of a future-ready curriculum that meets the needs of both our community and students alike. Through community input within our strategic planning process, advancement in social emotional learning, safety and security, STEM advancements at all levels, dual and AP college credit offerings, dual language immersion growth, career pathway expansion and facility and infrastructure upgrades we continue to meet the academic growth of our students.
Our board of school trustees, staff and administration wish to extend our gratitude for the community’s support as we open our doors to the start of a great year. WCS welcomes your visits, comments and partnerships in education. Please feel free to contact us. We are here to serve and partner in our community’s education with you!
Sincerely,
Dr. David Hoffert, Superintendent
