Court documents filed July 27 list the charges against Strycker as stalking, a level 5 felony; intimidation, a level 6 felony; and invasion of privacy, a Class A misdemeanor. Documents list his address as Elkhart.

On July 12, Warsaw Police Department officer Ryan M. Moore met with a woman who said Strycker had been communicating on Facebook messenger with another person, whose identity was redacted in court documents, and wanted to meet that person at midnight. The woman sent a text message to Strycker and told him he was not meeting with that person alone.

Strycker sent Facebook messages to the woman stating he was going to rape and kill her. He then sent text messages to her stating he would kill her and she would die.

The woman said she was in fear for her life. She said she and her family members moved to different locations in case Strycker came looking for her.

Strycker threatened to kill the woman in October 2017, for which he was arrested and convicted, according to court documents.

The woman said Strycker has an order from Kosciusko County courts to have no contact with her or make threats toward her.

Strycker was convicted of intimidation, a level 6 felony, on May 1 in Kosciusko County Superior Court III, and a no-contact order was ordered to remain in effect.
