SILVER LAKE — The Frye Family Band will be in concert at 6 p.m. Aug. 19 at Silver Lake Wesleyan Church.
Originally from Indiana, the Fryes are based out of Nashville. They are recording their new project, “Things Unseen,” with multi-Grammy nominee and Dove Award-winning songwriter, producer and worship leader Michael Farren.
“It’s an honor to work with someone of Michael’s caliber,” said Tom Frye. “Having him involved in the writing, song selection and production has been an amazing process, and it’s stretched all of us in amazing ways.”

There is no admission charge for the concert, but a freewill offering will be taken.

Traditional Worship At Free Methodist
WINONA LAKE — Remember growing up when you not only went to church, but were a part of a church? Are you looking for that kind of church family again?

ByGrace Ministry At Tippe Lake Service
LEESBURG — ByGrace Ministry will be the guest musicians Sunday at Leesburg United Methodist Church’s service at Tippecanoe Lake.
ByGrace Ministry is composed of Amos and Margaret Raber and their five children, ranging in age from 11 to 3. Their ministry was born out of the pain and healing processes of losing loved ones.
In spring 2002 Margaret's boyfriend was killed in a small plane crash. Later that year, Amos lost his wife in a car accident nine days after they were married. God brought Amos and Margaret together through mutual friends, and in February 2005 they got married.
The couple have spent most of their married life traveling in ministry, singing and preaching in churches, prisons andcommunity events in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. In recent years their ministry has taken on a new dynamic since their children are singing and playing several instruments for their family band. Amos and Margaret also serve on their home church’s pastoral team.
The service begins at 8:30 a.m. Sunday at Patona Bay on Tippecanoe Lake. Guests may come by boat, kayak or canoe and anchor in front of Patona Bay. Those who join the group on land should bring a chair. If it rains, the service will be moved to the boathouse.
Leesburg UMC also has a service at 9:30 a.m. Sunday at its building in Leesburg.
Keepers Of The Faith Singing Tonight
TIPPECANOE — Southern gospel quartet Keepers of the Faith will perform at 7 tonight at Riverview Community Church.
The Keepers of the Faith has been in ministry for over 15 years. The group began with three brothers of Samoan heritage singing a capella music as a prison ministry team. They would also visit hospitals and sing for every room that wanted to hear their harmonies.
The group’s music blends “deep south island flavor, a taste of oldie but goodie” and the sound of southern gospel. They have appeared on the main stage at the National Quartet Convention.
There is no charge for tonight’s concert, but a love offering will be collected.
The church is at 3780 Ind. 110, Tippecanoe.
‘414 Foundations’ Seminar Sept. 22
NORTH MANCHESTER — Victory Christian Fellowship will host the “414 Foundations” seminar by author and speaker Peter Heck from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 22.
The 414 Foundations seminar is a full day of teaching and training Christians how to respond to fundamental questions involving the existence of God, the “conflict” between faith and science, the reliability of the Bible, and the evidence for the resurrection of Jesus.
Heck has been a public high school teacher since 2001, teaching courses in American government and American history. He has won numerous regional and state teaching awards. In summer 2004, Heck founded media productions company Attaboy Productions Inc.
Cost of the seminar is $45 per person by Sept. 15 and $55 after that date. Cost includes materials and lunch. To register, call 260-982-8357.
The meeting will be at Missionary Church, 806 Ind. 114E, North Manchester.
Ice Cream Social Saturday At Pierceton UMC
PIERCETON — The annual homemade ice cream social of Pierceton United Methodist Church is planned from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday.
Sandwiches, baked beans, pies and cakes will be served with vanilla, chocolate and lemon ice cream. A freewill offering will be accepted.
Everyone is welcome.
Homecoming Revival Planned Aug. 20-26
Homecoming revival meetings are planned Aug 20-26 at Pentecostal Lighthouse.
The revival will feature Anthony Noe from Hazard, Ky. Meetings will begin at 7 p.m. Aug. 20-25 and 10 a.m. Aug. 26.
Everyone is welcome for a time of fellowship and hearing the Word of God.
