• 3:02 p.m. Monday - Intersection of North Kalorama Road and EMS T40 Lane, Leesburg. Van swerved to miss animal, left the road and hit a utility pole. Driver: Linda L. Schwartz, 70, North Kalorama Road, Leesburg. Injury: Schwartz complained of leg pain and a headache but refused medical treatment. Damage: $10,000-$25,000.
