Warsaw Schools Reminds Parents To Complete Online Registration

By Staff Report-

With the start of the school year fast approaching, Warsaw Community Schools is encouraging parents and guardians who have not yet registered their student(s) to do so as soon as possible.

Although registration is open year-round for all Warsaw schools, early registration assists in paving the way to a successful start to the school year for students and staff, according to a news release from WCS. Late registration may cause delays for a student.

Early registration is important in determining class sizes and transportation scheduling information. Although WCS transportation staff are working to configure transportation schedules, route configurations are dependent on all students being registered.

To complete registration, all returning students and new students are registered online by going to www.warsaw.k12.in.us and clicking on registration portal.

For parents who need assistance to access their PowerSchool account or change their username or password, contact your child’s school. For other registration questions, contact the WCS Central Office at 574-371-5098.

Parents requesting a transfer inside the school district or requesting a transfer to our district from another school district will receive a follow-up email to complete the remaining forms.

New students that are transferring to WCS from another district will need to provide attendance records and transcripts.

The registration process is not finished until the tasks on the confirmation page are completed including completing health information through CareDox. Parents will receive email communications about each of these steps.

Fees and invoices will not be generated for seventh through 12th grade students until after school has started and schedules are established.
