By Staff Report-

Planning is underway for the 2018 Angel Share program.

Angel Share, hosted by Warsaw Church of God, allows children ages 3 to 17 to select a Christmas gift for a parent, grandparent, teacher or other adult in their lives for $5 per gift. Children also make a Christmas card for their gift recipients.

Parents can participate in games and giveaways and have a snack while they wait for their child. This year a 33-inch flat-screen TV will be given away. Every family that attends will receive a raffle ticket, and one extra ticket will be given to any family that registers early.

A variety of activities will take place throughout the day. Participants include the Warsaw Street Department, the Winona Lake Fire Department, the Warsaw Police Department and Big Brothers Big Sisters.

To register, call Yvonne Southall at 419-905-2847 or email [email protected].

Volunteers also are needed. Contact Southall if you are able to help.

Proceeds from the day will benefit Grace College commuter students and Haiti Hungry No More, a ministry of the church.
