Kristen Lowe, Winchester, and Ian Alcorn, Warsaw, have announced their engagement.

Kristen is the daughter of Brian and Angela Lowe, Winchester. She graduated from Winchester Community High School in 2012 and from Ball State University, Muncie, in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in life science education.

She is a science teacher at Yorktown Middle School.

Ian is the son of Dave and Anita Alcorn, Warsaw. He graduated from Warsaw Community High School in 2008 and from University of Northwestern Ohio, Lima, Ohio, in 2014 with an Associate of Applied Science in automotove high performance technology.

He is shop foreman at Brenspeed, North Webster.

The couple are planning their wedding for Oct. 6, 2018.
