The Living Word To Sing At Lakeside Service Sunday

LEESBURG — The Living Word will be the guest artists at Leesburg United Methodist Church’s lakeside service this weekend.

The gospel group, in its 26th year, began at North Webster Church of the Brethren. Members Ann Lohman, Scott Trojan, Dick Sutton, Forest Boesenberg, Cheryl Spickelmier and Annie Mock come from five congregations “but joyfully unite to sing praises to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”

The service begins at 8:30 a.m. Sunday at Patona Bay on Tippecanoe Lake. Guests may come by boat, kayak or canoe and anchor in front of Patona Bay. Those who join the group on land should bring a chair. If it rains, the service will be moved to the boathouse.

Leesburg UMC also has a service at 9:30 a.m. Sunday at its building in Leesburg.



Revival Begins Sunday At God’s Highway To Heaven

Evangelist Garry Ferguson from Kentucky will lead revival meetings beginning Sunday at God’s Highway to Heaven Church.

Sunday is the homecoming service, which begins at 11 a.m. A second Sunday service is planned for 6 p.m.

Services will begin at 7 p.m. Aug. 6-11.

Everyone is welcome to all services.

The church is at 555 W. Webber St., Warsaw.



Gospel Sing Saturday At Free United Baptist

PIERCETON — A gospel sing is planned for 6 p.m. Saturday at Free United Baptist Church.

The sing will feature Marvin and Vernell Morrow from Tennessee.

The church is 4 miles south of Pierceton on Ind. 13.
