A sign theft... or a Ploy?

It has been decades since I sent a letter to the Editor. But something happened last week – in the dark.  I got home late and noticed the signs I had place a few days before were still there.  The next morning, just after "light", I drove to an appointment.  The two signs I placed a few feet from the road were gone.  And another two signs I placed – with permission– a few feet back from the road, where also gone.  That is four in less than 6/10 of a mile!

I suppose someone is worried about their selection for sheriff is not going well. I never talk politics.  However, I may say that Kyle Dukes' signs were the only signs removed!  I thought it was against the law to do so, but if not, it is at least wrong and very rude.
