Everett retired from Dana Corp. and spent the last 32 years living in Florida. He had previously resided in Converse, Marion, Fort Wayne and Warsaw.
Everett served in the 11th Airborne during World War II and was a member of the Freemasons in Fort Wayne until his passing.
He was preceded in death by wife, Betty, and daughter, Nancy.
He is survived by children Jim (Brenda), Columbus, Ohio; Jerry (Susie), McCordsville; and Jay (Mary), Fort Myers Beach, Fla. Everett was a loving grandfather to nine grandchildren and was blessed with five great-grandchildren.
Everett will be laid to rest Saturday, April 28, at Grant Memorial Park, Marion. A memorial gathering will begin at 1:30 p.m. in the Mausoleum Chapel, followed by a military burial at 2:30 p.m.
