Milford Teen Qualifies for State Pageant

The pageant is held for girls ages 4-18 in five age divisions. Contestants will compete in four categories: formal wear modeling, personal introduction, interview and community service project.
Miss Indiana junior teen will receive a $1,000 cash award and air transportation to compete in the national pageant at Disneyland in California.
Whitney is the daughter of Octavio and Tasha Bautista, Milford. She is a student at Milford School, where she is a cheerleader. Her activities include church, playing piano and volunteering.
The National American Miss pageant system is the largest in the U.S. The program is based on inner beauty, poise and presentation. Emphasis is placed on the importance of gaining self-confidence and setting and achieving personal goals.
