Editor, TIMES-UNION,

This year, like the years in the past, the North Webster-Tippecanoe Township Chamber of Commerce will host the annual Dixie Days. Dixie Days will be held on July 28 and we plan to hold a very successful and fun-filled event once again for our businesses and our community. We are continuing to expand upon the festival again this year and are incorporating new and inviting aspects that will draw people to our town to eat, shop, play and stay.

The festival will again be held on the front lawn of Pilcher's Shoes, featuring the craft and artisans booths on Washington Street, where the bike, truck, car and tractor show will be held, and into the fairgrounds, where the vintage snowmobiles will be held. There will also be, for the second year in a row, a large amount of boats on display on the fairgrounds, from multiple retailers. Also, as years in the past, we will have an array of some awesome food vendors along West Washington Street.

We really have a desire to promote and advertise the Dixie Days event so that we may be able to increase attendance and awareness of the festival. This will benefit our local businesses by bringing many people, from all over, into our wonderful town of North Webster.

We had great support from so many of you these past several years, and we would love to count on you again this year. We are requesting cash donations in the suggested amount of $25-$500 to partner with us in the event. We are grateful to all the wonderful businesses and people that make up the chamber and continue to help our area grow and thrive. As a not-for-profit organization, any donation made is fully deductible.

We look forward to partnering with all of our members to help grow our local commerce and community together. We trust that you will find Dixie Days a worthwhile project to support. On behalf of the North Webster-Tippecanoe Township Chamber of Commerce, we thank you for your support and generosity.
