NORTH MANCHESTER — Doris M. Monroe, 97, North Manchester, died at 1:28 p.m. April 18, 2018, at Peabody Healthcare Center, North Manchester.                   

She was born April 3, 1921, in Muskegon, Mich., to Sylvester and Irene Mattox Sunday.

She was married to Burr Monroe on Dec. 23, 1941. He died in 1976.                       

Local survivors include a son, Gary (Marsha) Monroe, North Manchester.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday, with calling two hours prior, at McKee Mortuary, 1401 Ind. 114W, North Manchester. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Servia.
