Mentone Elementary Spring Concerts
MENTONE – Mentone Elementary will welcome in spring by holding its spring concerts this week.
Today, preschool and kindergarten students will present their music program for parents and friends. Teachers for this program are Ashlee DuBois, Holly Bradford and Tana Tinkey.
On Thursday, the Mentone Elementary School second- and fourth-grade students will share their spring music concert.
Both programs will be held in the Mentone Elementary gym at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and students are to report to their classrooms for attendance.
Benefit Pork Barbecue Dinner April 28
A benefit pulled pork barbecue dinner will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. April 28 at the Winona Lake Senior Center, 1590 Park Ave.
The menu will consist of a pulled pork sandwich, cheesy hashed brown potatoes, baked beans, salad, dessert and drinks for a $10 adult minimum donation.
Proceeds will benefit Gary Price, who has had heart trouble for several years, suffered a stroke and undergone many procedures. He has reached the financial limits of his health insurance.
