NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON A

PETITION FOR VOLUNTARY ANNEXATION

    Notice is hereby given that the Common Council of Warsaw, Indiana, will hold a public hearing on a Petition for Voluntary Annexation. The hearing will be held on the 7th day of May 2018, at 7:00 p.m. at the Council Chambers in the City Hall, 102 S. Buffalo Street, Warsaw, Indiana.

    The proposed annexation, also, involves consideration of a change of the zoning classification from Residential (County) to R-1/Residential for the following described tract:

Legal Description:

    Lot 10 Shadow Lakes Estates, 14-89 Shadow Lakes Estates Sec. 2-3, Lot A & B Shadow Lakes Estates Sec. 3, Lot 37 Shadow Lakes Estates Sec. 3 & Part Tract E Lot 3.0 Acres

    Written suggestions or objections to the provisions of said annexation may be filed with the Building and Planning Department before such hearing and will be heard by the Common Council at the time and place specified.  Said hearing may be continued from time to time as may be necessary.

    Interested persons desiring to present their views upon the proposed annexation, either in writing or verbally, will be given the opportunity to be heard at the above mentioned time and place.  Copies of the proposed annexation may be examined in the office of the City Planner located at 102 S. Buffalo Street, Building & Planning Department, and Warsaw, Indiana.

    Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity of the City of Warsaw, should contact the office of Jeremy Skinner, 102 S. Buffalo Street, Warsaw IN  46580/phone (574) 372-9550, as soon as possible but no later than 48 hours before the scheduled event.
