Connie K. Feldman, 67 of Bourbon, passed away at 10:15 a.m. Friday, April 6, 2018, in Kosciusko Community Hospital. She peacefully fell asleep with her family at her side.

Connie was born Jan. 26, 1951. She was the daughter of Russell and Martha Boganwright Johnson. Connie lived her entire life in the area. She graduated from Triton High School High class of 1969. She worked at Reynolds Metals manufacturing windows until it closed. She then began working for the Triton School Corporation driving school bus and working in the high school cafeteria. Connie had a strong passion for gardening and flowers. She was a remarkable person and she had the most amazing personality and wittiness.

On May 25, 1984, she married Ed Feldman. Together they made their home on a farm where she could garden and mow the yard.

Survivors include her loving husband, Ed; daughter, Kelly (Tyler) Colt, of Warsaw; a son, Chad (Sylvia) King, of Grovertown; a step daughter, Tracey (Joe) Alberts, of Avon; three grandchildren: Jayde, Jasmine and Cameron, and her brother, Doug Johnson, of Warsaw. Also surviving is Connie and Ed’s dog, Zoey and special thanks to her best friends Pam and Jim Setser.

She was preceded in death by her father Russell, May 7, 2001, and her mother, Martha, August 10, 2004.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, from 4-8 p.m. in Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S. Main St., Bourbon, Indiana 46504.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with  Pastor Larrie Fretz officiating. Burial will follow in Summit Chapel Cemetery at Bourbon.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to the giver’s choice of charity in her memory.
