Last Monday Euchre Club

The Last Monday Euchre Club met at the Warsaw Senior Center on March 26.  

High winner was Terry Martin, most lones were Mary Grubbs and Pat Doyle, and low was Toni Wilson.  

The next meeting will be at 12:30 p.m. April 30 at the Warsaw Senior Center.



Frances Slocum Chapter DAR

NORTH MANCHESTER — Wabash County Frances Slocum Chapter INDAR will meet at 7 p.m. April 10 at North Manchester Public Library, Blocher Room, 405 N. Market St.

Danna Walter, master gardener, will speak about a pollinator garden with the monarch butterfly.  Prospective members and guests are welcome to attend.

North Webster Community Center SPEC

NORTH WEBSTER — Bridge results Tuesday from the Senior Prime Enrichment Center are Jerry Hetrick, first, and Dick Sutton, second.



Wednesday Night Bridge Group

The group had five tables March 28, with the following winners: Bob Mayer, Joan Kizer, Grant Magner, Tom Anderson, Nancy Dalton and Connie Ker.  

Janet and John Wagley will be hostess and host for April.  The next meeting will be April 4.



Four Seasons Ladies Bridge Group

WINONA LAKE — The group meet Wednesday at Grace Village with Peggy Zimmerman as hostess.

Winners were Zimmerman, Dian Cartwright, Maxine Harris and Judy Stewart.



Grace Thursday Bridge

The group gathered March 29 with Paulene Holderman as hostess.

Winners were Irene Clay and Barb Mayer.



Singles Meeting Friends

Plans for Easter were among the topics of discussion at the group’s gathering Wednesday.

Most people said that will get together with family and friends for the holiday. Vicki will be preparing for her trip to Florida.

The group learned that Rita’s sister, Linda Music, died, and that her service will be Monday.

Donna said that Don will not becoming back to Indiana until the end of April because of the colder weather. Others have made the same decision.

April 13 is the group’s game night at Martin’s Super Market. It begins at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

Singles Meeting Friends meets at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays at Martin’s.
