WCHS Grad Planning October 2018 Wedding

Lauren Horney and Cody Cyr, both of Kokomo, have announced their engagement.

Lauren is the daughter of Lori Horney, Warsaw, and her fiancé, Ray Marple, Kokomo. Her father is the late Joseph “Scott” Horney.

Cody is the son of Edgar Cyr and Jennifer Bowen, both of Kokomo.

The bride-to-be is a student nurse at Howard Community Hospital and also works at Buckle, Kokomo.

She graduated from Warsaw Community High School in 2012 and has studied at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis and Indiana University Kokomo, with plans to complete her Bachelor of Science in nursing in December 2017.

The groom-elect is an engineer at FCA, Chrysler Corp., Kokomo.

He graduated from Western High School, Russiaville, in 2012, and studied engineering at IUPUI and Purdue University, graduating in December 2016. He is working on his master’s degree at IU?Kokomo.  

The couple are planning their wedding for Oct. 20, 2018.
