Trojans Come Back From 15 Down To Get Win In OT

Instead, the Trojans mounted a comeback, forced overtime, held Culver Community scoreless on its possession, then won 27-21 on Ethan Berry’s 10-yard run.
The win put Triton in a first-place tie with Pioneer and Knox at 3-0 in the Hoosier North Athletic Conference.
“The defense really stepped up, I was pleased with their effort,” Trojan coach Ron Brown said. “They didn’t hang their heads when things were tough.”
Max Slusser got Triton on the scoreboard with an eight-yard touchdown run in the opening quarter. Quarterback James “Bo” Snyder had two short touchdown runs in the fourth quarter, and Slusser knotted the game up with a two-point conversion.
Now 4-1 overall, Triton faces defending HNAC champion Pioneer in Royal Center Friday. The Panthers , have yet to yield a point this season.
