Newsome Marks Military Service Milestone

Fifty years ago on Friday, Cornelius Newsome was honorably released from active duty with the U.S. Army.

SP5-E-5 Newsome served with the Army from Sept. 16, 1964, to Sept. 15, 1967.

He and his wife, Judy, live in Warsaw and have been married 47 years.

They have three children: Shane, Tonya and Lisa, all of Warsaw; and five grandchildren: Skyler, Bloomington; Landon, Fort Wayne; and Raygan, Garrett and Keaton, all of Warsaw.
